General

Who creates the jewellery?

All Jos Atelier jewellery is handcrafted by founder and artisan jeweller Josianne Calleja in Malta. Every piece is created with care, attention to detail, and a passion for traditional craftsmanship.

Is every piece handmade?

Yes. Every Jos Atelier piece is individually handcrafted. As a result, slight variations may occur, making each creation unique.

Where is your jewellery made?

All Jos Atelier jewellery is designed and handcrafted in Malta.

Materials

What materials do you use?

Our jewellery is crafted using carefully selected materials, including:

  • 925 Sterling Silver
  • Gemstones
  • Moissanite and other semi precious-stones
  • other precious metals
  • and also stainless steel /polymer clay creations

Specific materials are listed within each product description.

Will sterling silver tarnish?

Sterling silver naturally oxidises over time when exposed to air, moisture, perfumes, and skincare products. This is normal and can easily be removed with proper cleaning and care. Frequent use is also a great way to keep your product from tarnishing!

Is your jewellery hypoallergenic?

Sterling silver and stainless steel are generally suitable for most people. However, individuals with specific metal allergies should contact us before purchasing.

Filigree Jewellery

What is filigree?
