Experience the beauty of traditional Maltese filigree through our two  hands-on workshops, designed for all skill levels. Whether you're a curious traveller or a creative  the aim is to provide you with a good experience of a slowly dying art!

We offer two workshop tiers, allowing you to choose the experience that best suits your interest and time.

✨ Tier 1: Taster Filigree Course (1.5 Hours max 4 persons at a time)

“Taster” – €70 per person

Perfect for tourists and beginners, this introductory workshop offers a fascinating insight into the world of filigree jewellery making.

During this session, our master artisan will demonstrate how a filigree piece is created from start to finish. You’ll learn about:

• The history of Maltese filigree
• Traditional and modern techniques
• Different types of silver wires used
• How to clean and care for filigree jewellery

Hands-on experience:
During this course you will be able to twist your own filigree wire in different shapes and forms. This will expose you to the fascinating world of filigree making with a handson approach.

🔨 Tier 2: One-Day Filigree Course (4 Hours max 4 individuals at a time)

“Challenge Yourself” – €140 per person (includes lunch whilst we wait for the item to be cleaned and polished)

Ready to dive deeper? This workshop  builds on tier one but it has enough time to allow you to create your own filigree jewellery piece under guidance.

You can bring your own design or. Throughout the session, you will learn to:

• Create the jewellery frame
• Twist and shape fine silver wires
• Assemble and solder your piece
• Clean, polish, and finish your design
