The Promise Ring and its Story!
This ring began as a promise — a quiet, powerful symbol of a love that has grown steadily over six meaningful years.
The six ruby stones were chosen to mark each year they’ve spent together. Rubies, with their deep red glow, represent unwavering love, passion, and commitment — a reminder of the strength and devotion that carried them through every season of their journey.
Along the sides, six white moissanite stones echo those same six years, but through a different lens. They symbolize friendship, shared laughter, and personal growth — the moments that shaped not just their love, but the bond beneath it. Bright and enduring, they reflect the clarity and trust that only deep companionship can bring.
At the heart of the ring sits a sapphire, chosen with intention. Its rich blue marks the month they first decided to begin their relationship — and, beautifully, the same month they chose to promise their future together through marriage. A full circle moment, captured in a single stone.
This ring isn’t just jewelry. It’s six years of love, six years of friendship, and a future they chose together — held in silver and stone.
A similar one can be viewed @l-artigjana with different stones , crafted on the side with a different set of stones mostly zircons.
Jewellery Care & Materials
Crafted to Last
Every Jos Atelier piece is handcrafted in Malta using quality materials and traditional craftsmanship. Small variations in texture and finish are part of the beauty of handmade jewellery, making every piece uniquely yours.
Materials
925 Sterling Silver – Durable, timeless, and perfect for everyday wear. Silver may naturally tarnish over time but can easily be restored with a polishing cloth.
Stainless Steel – Strong, durable, and suitable for daily wear. Avoid harsh chemicals to help maintain its finish.
Gemstones & Bespoke Pieces – Many custom designs include carefully selected gemstones or special materials. Care instructions may vary depending on the piece.
Jewellery Care
To keep your jewellery looking its best:
-
Avoid perfumes, creams, chlorine, salt water, and harsh chemicals.
-
Remove jewellery before swimming, showering, exercising, gardening, or sleeping.
-
Clean with a soft polishing cloth and store in a dry jewellery box or pouch.
Tip: Sterling silver stays at its brightest when worn regularly.

Hallmarking & Precious Metals
All sterling silver jewellery produced by Jos Atelier is created using genuine 925 Sterling Silver.
As required by law, pieces are hallmarked to verify the purity of the metal and the identity of the maker as . Hallmarking provides customers with confidence that the precious metal content meets recognised standards.
As handcrafted jewellery varies in size and design, hallmark placement may differ from piece to piece.
Filigree Certification
Filigree is one of Malta's most treasured jewellery-making traditions, requiring exceptional skill, patience, and precision.
Due to the specialised nature and cultural significance of filigree craftsmanship, all Jos Atelier filigree pieces are supplied with their own dedicated Filigree Certificate of Authenticity.
This additional certification confirms:
- The piece has been handcrafted using traditional filigree techniques.
- The intricate wirework has been individually formed and assembled by hand.
- The design represents authentic artisan craftsmanship rather than machine production.
- The piece is a genuine Jos Atelier filigree creation.
The Filigree Certificate accompanies the standard Jos Atelier Certificate of Authenticity and provides an additional record of the piece's craftsmanship and heritage.
Handmade, Not Manufactured
Small variations in texture, finish, and detail are a natural characteristic of handcrafted jewellery. These subtle differences are not imperfections but evidence of the artisan's hand and make every piece uniquely yours.
No two handcrafted creations are ever exactly alike.

We recommend keeping your Certificate of Authenticity in a safe place for future reference.
The certificate may be useful for:
